Upcoming 2008 Dates for CLF:

Saturday, August 23: City Kids Festival at Julliard Park. We will be hosting a family photo booth. Also, we are collecting spiral notebooks for the Redwood Gospel Mission school supply give-away at the festival. We have collected over 2,000 notebooks - our goal is to get close to 4,000. Contact Ann Coset to help during the festival; bring notebooks here to the church by August 17. Thank you!
Homegroup: Meets every other Tuesday night at 7 pm at CLF. Led by Ralph & Jackie Knights. Contact the church office for more information.
Homegroup: Meets on Wednesday nights and is led by the Kruegers and the Sundahls. Contact the church office for specific meeting times and locations.
Women's Bible Study: Meets Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm. Call Becky Madison (217-1964) for dates and location.
Quilting: Thursdays from 7-9 pm at Pat Bean's home. We are making quilts for hospitalized children at UCSF. Call the church office for more information.

Prayer 1000 Challenge

At City Life Fellowship, we just reached the goal of praying with 1000 people—people out in the community where we live and work. We have been listening to the Holy Spirit and reaching out in love to pray with the people around us who are hurting. It has been very exciting to hear some of the stories of the people who have been touched by the love of God—including friends, family, and total strangers.

Caring for Kids

Did you know that...in Sonoma County there are nearly 67,457 children left alone after school each day? You can help provide safe programs for kids by enrolling in the following program.

The Sonoma County Pastor's Prayer Fellowship is inviting congregations to sign up for "Change for Kids." Take your City of Santa Rosa utility bill (water and sewer) and round it up to the nearest dollar, and your "change" will go directly to the after-school "Change for Kids" fund for Santa Rosa kids!

For less than a dollar a month, join the Recreation and Parks Department by taking an active role in expanding free, after-school recreation programs to help provide more safe and secure places for youth.

100% of your contribution goes toward increased after-school programming and is tax deductible. To enroll in "Change for Kids," please click here or call 543-3282.
